Rediscovering VoiceXML :)

VoiceXML Review have posted in Volume 5, Issue 3 - May / June 2005 an article about VoiceXML and AJAX. The article is well explained with a sample usage for an RSS reader using VoiceXML and Javascript.

I think mixing AJAX with VoiceXML is really useless. The idea for AJAX was to create visual effect so the enduser interact more easily with the website. In this case AJAX is used to replace dynamic scripts, since the enduser won't see how did the developer write the VoiceXML using AJAX, PHP, .NET, J2EE ... or if its static !

Since AJAX isn't easier for debug, I think it will be better to avoid such complications that don't have anything new to add to Voice application development.
