AJAX could help increasing sales on e-commerce websites

In some e-commerce website, its interesting to have an idea about sales that were not complete. For example its usual for me to go visit a website to buy something, then for a reason or another after filling the form I don't continue and just close the window.

The reason could be a very long form, sometimes you find conditions for payments that you don't fill, no international shipping, you don't accept seller conditions, you notice something wrong ... It really depends from a shop to another.

AJAX forms could help e-commerce website owners to track these lack on their website that make them loose customers, and informations saved in real time in server could serve later to see complete sales from the incomplete ones.

I'll be interested to do some real investigations with some e-commerce websites, you see AJAX isn't only useful to create beatiful pages, it makes life much easier.
