AJAX Office applications
Hatem Z., not myself, have posted on hist blog about Last AJAX Office Applications [french]. In his post, hatem pointed to six AJAX applications for Office from the word processor, spreadsheet, calendar, presentation-building, email client and notes.
This what was threatening microsoft office : The Web Office. The concept isn't new but thanks to the AJAX 'rediscovered', web office have today a large vision that can compete more seriously with desktop office. There is already many spell checking solution, it make easy the realtime saving of documents so whenever the browser crash it's easy to recover. In the future PC will be changed with terminals with only a browser on it, and I'll buy a PS3 console for games.
