Salesforce.com adding more force with AJAX

Salesforce.com, kicks off its third annual Dreamforce user conference on Monday, pledging details about the next release of its on-demand CRM application and to release a toolkit for creating application "mash-ups."

Salesforce.com plans to preview its forthcoming Winter ’06 CRM application suite release. The company also will release the final version of its AJAX (Asynchronous Java and XML) toolkit, which lets customers combine or mash-up externally based Web services with Salesforce.com features. Dubbed Smashforce, it helps subscribers integrate Salesforce.com’s sales software with outside apps such as Google Maps.

Salesforce is a lead company in providing hosted Customer relationship managment solutions. Salesforce enjoyed a 97 percent growth rates in sales of hosted CRM applications according to a study by AMR Research.
