World's First AJAX Development Environment with JavaScript Synthesis
I have received today this press release for review. Morfik, innovative Australian software company, will announce and preview its new technology - 'JavaScript Synthesis Technology' for automated development of AJAX applications - at the Web 2.0 Conference to be held on 5-7 October 2005 in San Francisco.

"Morfik has developed a unique JavaScript Synthesis Technology (JST) that allows developers to use a powerful integrated design environment together with a high-level language of their choice to create reliable applications comprised purely of HTML and JavaScript" said Siamack Yousofi, Chief Technology Officer of Morfik.
This technology addresses the current limitation that development of AJAX applications “ such as Google's Gmail - is very costly in time, money and expertise. Such sentiments are typified by David Mendels of Macromedia when he said (regarding the creation of Gmail), "Google hired rocket scientists " they hired Adam Bosworth, who invented DHTML when he was at Microsoft. Most companies can't go and repeat what Google has done.
With Morfik's JST, developers of non-web-based software applications can now leverage their existing programming skills and business knowledge to create powerful AJAX applications for the browser platform with unprecedented productivity and without the need to program in JavaScript or HTML. Any programmer can become an AJAX developer and create feature-rich web applications with ease, speed and reliability.
To demonstrate these powerful capabilities, two Morfik programmers used Morfik JST to build a desktop version of Google's Gmail in just 2 months! The application they created is a pixel-by-pixel match of Gmail's interface and functionality, yet it also works offline just like standard email clients such as Microsoft Outlook.
The development of a new generation of applications which can continue to run unplugged from the web will be shown at the Web 2.0 Conference. Examples which will be shown are Google's Gmail with the capability of a web disconnected state and Microsoft Access's sample database Northwind with the capability of a web connected state.
Similar efficient development with JavaScript Synthesis Technology could be repeated for desktop versions of other AJAX-based applications, such as the recent web versions of Yahoo! Mail or Microsoft's Hotmail, or for a whole range of business application such as ERP, CRM, or CMS.
