Drag drop online site creator is an AJAX and PHP solution to allow customers create professional looking websites from their browser using simply drag and drop. The solution is fully written in PHP and Javascript and don't require any additional plugin.

What I found interesting in this solution is the ability to play with the content, based on layers, inside the page to have the disposition that you want. Certainly not very professional way for designers, but it would be an interesting solution especially for beginners and web hosting providers, to offer their customers such this service to allow easily creating their companies website for example.

What I didn't like too much is the design of the application itself, while the it could deliver very nice looking websites it could be at least boosted in its design. But I found the drag and drop capabilities very interesting to play with the layers, there is also right click menu to edit layer properties, edit, bring forward or send backword. The product is offered also with site based licensing, for hosted version or Install on your server with the licensed version. Prices goes from $15/month the 10 sites with the hosted version, until $199 (one-time-fee) the 100 with the licensed version. Also this product came with about 75 templates but you add your own. Personally with the feature offered and what already exist in the market I find its prices not very competitive for single users, but could be very interesting for hosting providers thought.
