A New Ajax Homepage every two weeks ?

Michael Arrington was worried yesterday if he don't see a new Ajax Homepage every two weeks. That's not too much two weeks ? Michael is tracking AJAX Homepages and got already a good list including :

* Eskobo
* favoor
* Google
* Goowy (Flash, not Ajax)
* HomePortals
* Microsoft Live
* Netvibes
* Pageflakes
* Protopage
* Wrickr
* Yahoo
* Zoozio

Personaly the one I know most are Protopage and Netvibes, and the one I use mostly is google personalized home page, but absolutely never heared about lot of the AJAX Homepages listed. What I find funny that everytime there is Google in the list you should see also Microsoft and Yahoo.

Yahoo isn't listed there, but My Yahoo is also another AJAX Homepage with drag and drop feature and boxes that could be easily configured. In the comment there is also two others LinkFeed and MyHommy. I thought two weeks was too much, but looks like its growing more faster ! But there is no need to be worried :)

This is another one coming up, but with a far more powerful API for widgets than any of the previous ones.

IMHO this personalized AJAX homepages are overrated .All the existing ones (including netvibes.com) are slow and not practical for setting as the browser homepage. It sucks if i have to wait for 10 seconds after i clicked the browser.

This is the reason most power internet surfers just set about:blank or a bare bone site like officialhomepage.org as their startpage.
