Network Monitoring with Ajax

I saw today MILA, an AJAX Based Network monitoring solution. MILA allow to request network status and display it dynamicly on a map using AJAX, the script keep refreshing the page so you can easily monitor the network using your browser. In the our network department we have a desktop java application developped in-house to monitor the network, with servers installed in different cities so I think viewing the status in a map will help too much to localize the network problems. MILA come with a europe map, but I think it won't be difficult to implement it for other places. When a server is down, the icon in map change from blue to red, I have to test it in our network to see it changing colors more frequently :-)
