New Zend Framework with JSON Support

Zend Framework have been recently released with 12 ready to use enterprise modules including JSON between them. JSON is an excellent alternative to XML for AJAX applications, an excellent solution for Web 2.0 interfaces as introduced in the new Zend Framework. The module allow simply to encode and decode JSON data, with the possibility to decode data into objects inspite of the default associative array.

There is a more detailed review in the Enterprise PHP, Zend Framework aimed to provide enterprise solutions which is a good point for JSON to be adopted as the solution to develop AJAX interfaces. Remember also the discussion last month in the PHP internals about bundling JSON into PHP Core, so will JSON replace XML to make better web 2.0 interfaces ?
