New AJAX Magazine Logo and Website Design

Welcome everyone, yes you are reading the AJAX Magazine ! We have a new logo and new website design, and a new look. The colors didn't change a lot but we changed especially the content disposition, the page is larger now with a 900px width and it's kind of sacrifice because there is just 3.81% of readers using a 800x600 screen resolution.

In the beginning I made myself the logo, it was just funny because I was simply inspired by the perfume free AJAX :-) And since I'm not a designer I can imagine the disaster, but hey it wasn't that bad. Anyway I'm glad that we'll celebrate the first year of AJAX Magazine with a new look and new features also that we are currently working on. No need to make any announcements yet, everything will be ready in time.

And of course, I would love to hear your feedback.

Your design is toast in Firefox 1.5.0.1, Win2k, 1152 X 864 screen. Send me an email if you want a screenshot.

John : I have tested with the same resolution and it looks okay for me, can you send me a screenshot ?

Hubis : I loved the old logo too, coz I make it myself :) This one I didn't make it but I spend really long time to choose it between 7 other creations.

Choiced font in article is incompetent and size of characters is too little. This makes your articles unreadable. Why you abandon serif font?

April fools? You're a day late!

You can't be serious about that new logo. Just take a look at the kerning between "a" and "j"! Looks like "a jax". And about this X-thing: what's it supposed to express? I don't get it.

My 2 cents... Sorry.

Shameless self promotion:
I've made a general-purpose AJAX logo you're free to use. Go ahead and put it on here if you like.
