Prototype, Easing AJAX's Pain

Bruce Perry have written a good article on XML.com about Prototype and how it's Easing AJAX's Pain. Bruce, author of AJAX Hacks, have started with introducing Prototype, how to setting up the library, creating Prototype Objects ...etc. In the next article Bruce will discusses AJAX caching strategy with the same application.

This article describes Prototype, an open source JavaScript library to create an object for an AJAX application. I explain how to use Prototype by describing an environmentally oriented web application that displays an annual atmospheric carbon dioxide (CO2) level. First, I will discuss Prototype's benefits and describe how to set up Prototype in your application. Second, I will delve into the nitty-gritty of how this application puts the library to good practical use.

as long as prototype is dropping notices, it should not be adoped by this much people. I just can explain this circumstance by missing knowledge of javascript by users and writers of tutorials.

I guess a certain sense of quality needs to be the base of sucha successful product ....

From my point of view pt. is not easing any of the real ajax pains ;)
