XAJAX
XAJAX 0.2.4 have been released, a mainly maintenance release with many bug fixes and some new features such the ability to bypass data variables including arrays and object properties from PHP to Javascript using a simple XML data format. Documentation have been converted to the industry-standard PHPDoc format, this will help to easily generate the documentation and keep it updated. You can find the full release notes for details. There is some exciting news coming soon for XAJAX since the work on xajax 0.5 has already begun !
We're happy to announce the release of xajax 0.2.4. It's like having a sweet treat: just a yummy little something to tide you over until the next big meal. Yes, work on xajax 0.5 has already begun, and it will soon be under heavy development, but in the meantime, enjoy 0.2.4. It fixes a couple of minor issues and offers a few new goodies -- the most exciting of which is a way to call a Javascript function from PHP and pass data structures like strings, arrays, and event object properties to that function without any need to specially format anything. It's kind of like JSON, only...it's XML instead.

I'm glad that XJAX is an ongoing project and continues to be refined. The more web development I do where I include small ajax functions, the more I find myself turning to it due fo ease of use.
