Smoot, Web-based diagram and GIS tool

Smoot is an AJAX Web-based tool for creating diagrams of icons and links between them. Features include Google Maps and Google Earth integration, configurable tool palettes, and automated palette generation from a Google Local query. Smoot is written in PHP and relies on PEAR::DB and XAJAX for database connection and AJAX fonctionnalities. You can see demo working online on sourceforge but without the GIS features. To use the GIS features of Smoot, you will need to assign labels and addresses to the elements of your diagram. Right-click on an icon to bring up its properties box; enter a label and an address in the corresponding blanks.
