Simple Spreadsheet, Open Source Javascript Spreadsheet Solution
This is not iRows which will shutdown on 31 December, and not Google Spreadsheet, not even NumSum, Simple Spreadsheet is an open source Javascript Spreadsheet solution that you can get on your own server written in JavaScript, HTML, CSS and PHP, part of the Simple Groupware project. It features formulas, charts, numeric formats, keyboard navigation, and more. JavaScript is used for the default data format and for the macros and formulas.
Simple Spreadsheet support graphs using PHP and the JpGraph library. I find it an excellent solution that could be integrated in Open Source projects, but not very user friendly as it's in very early stages. Insert, delete row or column, copy, cut and paste are in the bottom of the page, and there is no flexibility to play with cells, merge ...etc. But there is some good points like Keyboard navigation with cursor keys, and Live preview of the calculated result while typing. I think It's a great start for a beta software, released under the GNU GPLv2 License.
