Mootools 1.0 Released

Mootools released yesterday its version 1.0 with lots of bugfixes, improvements. The documentation have been also updated and improved in addition to a website redesign. Summary of changes include :

  • Bug in Fx.Slide initialization, prevents it from working if mode is not specified on creation
  • getStyle with 'auto' values
  • onstatechange should be resetted
  • evalScripts patch
  • evalScripts Ajax
  • Drag.Move broken, event handler is not fully detached.
  • Check every component possible memory leaks
  • Ajax toObject selects all form elements
  • Allow ignoring expire to create session cookies
  • setOpacity comment mistake - Element.js

It's just awesome. I've played with it yesterday and i truely think this is the best 'light weight' javascript framework ever.

It's less lightweight now than it was by the way, if you want to have the full-thing uncompressed including comments it's a whopping 120+Kb
