Testing Prototype with Firefox 3

John Resig posted a follow-up of his previous article on Future-Proofing JavaScript Libraries, great work to make modern JavaScript libraries fits well with the next generation of Firefox. But sad to see Firefox only having such initiatives. Anyone know if IE, Opera or Safari have some similar work or planning for ? Probably this could be done at the OpenAJAX Alliance level, since the major actors are now part of the group.
