Zimbra and Comcast, New communication center is born
Zimbra announced today their deal with Comcast, the largest domestic broadband cable provider in US, to integrate their collaboration suite as unified communications app with email, IM, voice mail, smart address book, and even RSS feeds. This going to add twelve million new users to the current six million paid mailboxes of Zimbra and let Comcast Triple Play consumers easily manages their communication needs from one portal. The screenshots posted over the Zimbra blog show a new product brand "SmartZone Communication center" which is not listed on the Zimbra product page but powered by Zimbra AJAX technology.
