AJAX 4 iPhone

With the launch of iPhone in US, it was expectable to see more AJAX specific development for iPhone. There are already two IDEs : Morfik WebOS AppsBuilder and Aptana IDE. Joe Hewitt have even created iBug an iPhone bridge to Firebug, to debug your iPhone applications directly from your computer.

We noticed that most current new applications for iPhone have been written in PHP and using JavaScript libraries such Prototype, YUI, jQuery. There is already many interesting visual experience for iPhone in these new apps, and we'll see certainly more experiments especially that it is confirmed now that there is no Flash or Flash lite support for iPhone, only AJAX !. Notice that there is a security issue for iPhone users on AT&T network concerning the Cingular voicemail, Nitesh posted a tip to protect yourself from this vulnerability.
