PlanJam, Find, Plan and Share Local Things To Do
We have previously covered PlanJam launch in December 2006, This week a new version of the website have been released. Since last release PlanJam Partnered With Branding, Design, and UI Veteran to get their service completely redesigned, multi-faceted planning interface. Highlighted in this release :
- The interactive interface puts the wealth of the web's information at your fingertips...all on a single page. It truly is a one-stop destination for information.
- Users can obtain point-to-point directions, create and share custom plans, or save them for later.
- PlanJam utilizes a custom, hand mined database with over a half million local entries (added about 400,000 since 2006). You won't find all this information (at least not all in one place) anywhere else on the web.
- New Metro Pages focused around specific scenes and written by people "in the know". Not just one editor per city or neighborhood, but rather, everyday people that users can connect with.
