Backbase Releases Enterprise Ajax 4.2
Backbase released today a major update of their Enterprise Ajax framework. Major new featres and improvements have been added to the new release including :
- Lightweight Ajax Support (single-DOM)
- Data binding
- Adobe AIR support
- More widgets and redesigned skin
- Sample layouts
- Performance enhancements

With these new features Backbase Enterprise Ajax gave developers the choice to develop their Ajax apps. Developers can choose between rich and lightweight Ajax functionality, between CSS and XPath, between JavaScript and tag-based development, between JSON and XML, between native widgets and 3rd party widgets and between online and offline RIAs. Backbase Releases Enterprise Ajax 4.2, Offering Developers “Choice”
Increases productivity with choice of technology and methodology for Ajax development
San Mateo, California, April, 16th, 2008. Today, Backbase, The Ajax CompanyTM, introduces Enterprise Ajax 4.2, a new version of the industry leading Ajax framework. Backbase Enterprise Ajax 4.2 is available today. It includes a free Community License for development and deployment on up to 2 server-CPUs. A commercial license is available to businesses needing more CPUs or professional support and software maintenance. A JSF Edition (optimized for Java Server Faces) will be available next month.
